What Peter's doing tonight.

There are a lot of hardships that come with having your house half torn down and rebuilt.

Having strange men being there all the time

Lack of space to move around

The noise

The dust

The delays

But the thing I miss the most- my washer and dryer

I really hate going to the laundromat. If they served booze and played decent tv it might be better but they don't. It's all telenovellas and other peoples stinky over perfumed laundry detergent.

But it's Peter's turn this time, I'll just have to put it all away tomorrow.

Controlled chaos?

We're disassembling Oliver's crib today. Gotta make room for the construction in the bedroom. Yup.

Going into the city

Oliver and I heading into NYC.

Yay rodents!

Oliver and I were displaced again today because it's impossible to take a nap in a construction zone.

Today we went out to Pasadena. We were picking up poop bags for Baxter's leash when I realized pet store = perfect toddler entertainment. There were fish, birds, dogs at doggie day camp, kittens and cats waiting to be adopted, and Doodle's favorite hamsters.

Happy Mother's Day to us!

For my first Mother's day I received a generous gift certificate to a spa.
Don't we look all relaxed and glowy?

the construction homeless

Oliver and I are without a quiet respite during the day due to all the construction noise going on at home. Since naps are important we're out and about all day. Today we went to Anaheim.
